Chapter 7: Dinner with Family
Morgan found Anakin in the living room when she went looking for him with Merlin.
"Ani, do you have a moment," she asked her husband.
"For you, of course I do," he said inviting her and Merlin to sit with him.
"So," Morgan began hesitantly, "I have some news and I'm not sure how you'll take it."
"Deja vu," Merlin said to himself.
Morgan glared at him before turning back to Anakin.
"What's the news," Anakin asked.
"I'm pregnant," Morgan answered.
Anakin looked back and forth between Morgan and Merlin for a moment before smiling at her.
"That's great, Morgan. You're going to have another baby. So tell me, do I get to be an Uncle or am I a honorary grandpa." he asked.
"You're not mad?" Morgan asked to confirm how he was feeling.
Anakin smiled and taking one of her hands in his, he brought it up and pressed a kiss to the back of it. "I'm not mad," he confirmed.
"I'm happy for you. Both or you," Anakin added looking at Merlin.
"Thank you," Merlin said.
"To answer your question, Ani, I want...We want," she corrected herself with a look from Merlin, "we want you to be another father to the baby. Just like I was another mother to Teddy and Padme when they were little."
"I would be honored," Anakin said shaking hands with Merlin while Morgan smiled happily from the couch.

"Oel ngati kameie," Padme said welcoming her parents into the house with a hug.
"Oel ngati kameie," Morgan returned.
"How are you doing baby-girl," Anakin asked hugging Padme in turn.
"I'm doing well. You're a little early, Farhan is on his way home and I still need to get ready before we go to dinner."
"It's no problem," Morgan said sitting on the couch with the others.
"You don't usually come early. Is there something going on at home?" Padme asked.
Anakin smiled at Morgan before turning back to their daughter. "We're adding a new member to the family. Your mom's pregnant."
"You too?" Padme asked.
"Too?" Anakin and Morgan echoed.
"I'm pregnant. Farhan and I just found out."
"That's wonderful," Morgan hugged her daughter.

The smells coming from every table they passed were enticing even to Morgan who usually turned down cooked food, not having needed it since she was a child. But a lot of bonding occurred around meals and she joined her family every once in a while to eat.
"How did we get reservations so soon after their opening," Morgan asked looking at the dishes listed in the menu.
"A friend of mine from high school is working under under the chef," Farhan said. "He made arrangements when one of the older reservations fell through."
"I heard the chef here is supposed to have come all the way from Bridgeport." Padme said.
"Trained in the best restaurants while he was there too," Farhan added.
The waitstaff came and went with their orders and brought out their food. Talk ranged from the news of the growing babies to workplace gossip. Anakin shared stories from their early days in San Myshuno with Tatum during her pregnancy with Teddy.
They laughed and enjoyed their meal and their time together. Morgan laughed with her daughter as Anakin regaled them with the story of the mad dash to the hospital when Tatum went into labor.
Morgan smiled as the warm feeling in her chest settled as she watched three of the members of her family happy and enjoying themselves.

Random Ramblings...
Yahoo, another chapter finished. So, any feedback on the story so far. Think I mentioned it but I'm trying a new way of writing the story. Writing what was happening and telling the story behind it that comes up in my head.
I find it enjoyable and refreshing after being off line for so long. Haven't got back to my other story, though I still have an outline and idea of what should happen in my head. I may get to it when I next take a break from my RL job.
Any-hoo, I'm trying to catch up on what I've played up to and I'm doing a horrible job of it. Oh well, I'll catch up to it at some point.
