Chapter 3: Time to Talk
Getting off the bus Rhiannon followed Wynn into the house. She smiled at mom's friend who greeted them with a smile and a welcome but Wynn glared at him and stomped past him to their room. Rhiannon shrugged at him and hurried after her sister.
In the room Wynn was slamming drawers in the desk.
"What's wrong with you," she asked sitting on her bed.
"Nothing," Wynn growled.
Rhiannon raised a brow and looked at her.
"I don't know," Wynn growled, "I just...I can't...it's Sa'nok's friend. Something about him set's my fangs on edge."
"You should talk to her. And probably apologize to him before she gets home too."
"Why should I apologize?" Wynn asked.
"You were rude and you know how she feels about good manners."
"Wynn," Rhiannon prompted.
"Fine," Wynn snapped and slammed her book shut. She stood up and left the room. Rhiannon sighed and pulled out her own book to start her homework.
Since their birthday Wynn had been more hot-headed than usual but she figured that had to do with her new needs and nature as a Blood-Born. Their mom never showed a temper but she'd also had a lot of time to understand her nature which she and Bronwynn just didn't have as young as they were.
She figured it would all make sense at some point when they were older. It was just a matter of getting there.

Morgan smiled as she opened the door and entered the house. Anakin and Merlin were talking on the couch when she entered.
"Welcome home," Anakin smiled as he greeted her.
"Thanks. Did you have a good day today?" she asked.
"We did. We'd actually like to talk to you if have a moment," Merlin said.
"Sure. Just let me get changed out of this coat and we'll talk."
"So what did you want to talk about," she asked sitting next to the men.
"Anakin was asking about Blood-Born and we discussed how households work," Merlin started.
"And while I'm reassured to know that our kids will help when I'm gone I would still like it if you had more Sims in your life. Even a new love interest." Anakin continued.
"But Ani," Morgan started to argue.
"I know it's too soon for you," he stalled her argument with raised hand, "but I would like to know that you are looking Morgan.
"You have far too much love in you," he continued taking her hand in his, "and I want to you to share it. Tomorrow or today, I don't really care when, as long as you're happy."
"In that vein of thought," Merlin said drawing her attention back to him with her hand in his, "I'm headed out to Granite Falls this weekend and thought you might like to come along for a couple days."
"And you'd be okay with me going. Be okay with anything that happened while we are gone," she asked.
He smiled and brushed her cheek, "Of course, Morgan. Like I said, you are a loving woman with more than enough love to go around."
"Besides," he chuckled, "you'll be coming back to our family here."
Morgan smiled as she cupped his cheeks and brushed a kiss to his lips, "What did I ever do to deserve you."
"I've asked myself that everyday since we met," Anakin returned the kiss.

Random Ramblings...
Yay another chapter finished. Now for some background...
Morgan completed the Player Aspiration. So no jealousy between Anakin and Merlin in this situation.
As part of the story I think of it as part personality and part survival trait. Before the creation of plasma packs the Blood-Born were dependent upon donor's for their survival. Many hunted among villages and traveled to avoid detection. Other's that had the means to support such lifestyles lived with their donor's in their households. Of course sometimes part of that comes with building romantic relationships with the donor's because who's going to turn in a beloved lover to the mob when the villagers come calling with pitchforks.
Morgan is also a little bit of a free love spirit but I'll be going into a little more detail with that later in the story so...yeah.
Thanks for reading.
